- Results: For Mastercard Miami, the relocation was more than a transfer of place. It implied a great change in the cultural concept of the company. Great success was achieved from a different and fun internal communication strategy. An ambassador (influencer) who was chosen by the employees themselves was in charge of spreading the campaign, facilitating the entire process. The campaign achieved great acceptance and enthusiasm for a new proposal and organization of the space “Moving to an open concept workspace”. A creative and outstanding proposal in internal communication that was also a candidate to participate in awards.

Challenge
The globally recognized client, Mastercard, based in Miami USA, raised the need for a relocation where a great cultural change was added for employees who had to move to an open concept work area, very different from the way they had been doing it. This would imply a challenge so that the change does not have a significant impact on day-to-day life and a favorable adaptation is achieved.
Development
This development would imply generating a cultural change in the daily life of the employees and managing to evolve to an open and closer environment among collaborators.
A relocation is much more than a change of place: there is an impact on the entire culture of the company. It was proposed that Mastercard employees themselves choose an internal influencer to generate closeness and empathy with everyone.
The employee turned into a new influencer that got a leading and empathetic role, telling stories through short and fun videos and ads. These advertisements highlighted the advantages of the relocation, helping the whole team during the process.
Results
With an influencer that transmitted the campaign, great acceptance, closeness and enthusiasm for a new proposal and organization of the space was achieved, thus achieving great success. This internal communication strategy made the entire moving process easier, integrating and involving everyone in a different and fun way. The results were outstanding: 96% of employees were satisfied with the communications sent before, during and after the office move. 98% of employees felt they were well informed through the move process. 96% of employees thought the communications process was excellent or very positive.
